my wife and I hope to adopt a child, and while this is not in context with the Yearbook site, our adoption attorney has advised that we should network in all ways possible.

Friend, As you are reading this letter right now, we understand that you are faced with making a very difficult decision about your baby's future. We are extremely glad that you are reading this! We have wanted for so long to have a child in our lives, but are not able to conceive. We have the utmost respect for the decision you are faced with making. We invite you to read about us and consider us as you explore your options. Nicole was also an adopted child and can very well relate what thoughts and questions our child may have through the years about being adopted. |
ABOUT
US![]() We have been married for ten wonderful years. We met on a blind date and it was love at first sight! We are each other's best friend. Our marriage gets even better as each year goes on and have grown fonder of each other over the years. We feel very fortunate to have each other in our lives. We have almost everything we need in our lives except for the sound of little feet to add more joy to our lives.
We have a nice home with an empty bedroom in it just waiting for a child.
We both grew up in very supportive and loving families and have 12 nieces
& nephews between us. We are both close to our families and they are
very excited for us. We look forward to raising a child of our own. We are
very stable people both financially and emotionally. Nicole will be a stay-at-home
mom. We will teach our child the importance of a good education and be able
to afford the opportunity to go to college. We both believe in moral values
and respect for others which we will teach to our child. |
JAMES I
am the youngest of four children. I grew up in Walnut Creek, Ca. and my
dad still lives in the home that I grew up in. To this day, the family home
is very special to me, my 2 brothers, sister and their three children. The
kids always love coming to see grandpa and playing in the very spacious
backyard along with all the games and toys my parents bought for them over
the years. My parents worked hard to make it a fun home to grow up in. We
would often go on weekend trips to Tahoe, Guerneville and other places by
car. My parents knew the importance of getting away for the weekend with
the family. My mom (now deceased) taught me how to garden and plant all
kinds of flowers, trees, bushes and vegetables. I still
love to garden and I am always out in the yard making our
lawn and plants look presentable. This is definitely a full-time
hobby for me. I have a very good and secure job as a technician with Coca-Cola. I fix coke machines at various stores and restaurants. I have worked with the company for seven years and have a flexible schedule which will be great with having a child. |
| NICOLE I grew up in the Peninsula towns (20 miles south of San Francisco) of San Carlos, Belmont, San Mateo and even lived on the Half Moon Bay coast in my high school years. I had a lot of fun growing up and knew I was very special to my parents since I was an adopted child. They always told me that I was no different than a biological child. My mother couldn't have children so my parents knew adoption would be the only choice in having a child. We are all very close and even though they are no longer married and have been remarried for years, it just makes me have more special people in my life. Both of my stepparents are very supportive and have big wonderful families. My stepmom has 3 children of her own, along with nine grandchildren! I have always felt very close to her, her kids and especially her grandchildren which I call my nieces and nephews. My dad and stepmom live in Arizona in a ranch style house in the foothills of the mountains. We occasionally take driving trips to see them and take in the beauty of Arizona. My mom and stepdad live on the Half Moon Bay coast and we always love to go down to the beach when we see them. They have lived there almost twenty years and know almost everyone in town. Our child would have the best of both of these worlds from my family. ![]() I have a wonderful job working with developmentally disabled adults at a day program. I have been working in this field for a year and a half. It's very challenging and rewarding work and I love coming to work everyday. It's a very fun work environment. I love to work with these special people who I believe are God's greatest gift. They are the most loving and nurturing people I have ever met. I teach them a variety of skills such as reading, writing, counting money, computers and other things. At times my job can be just reaching out to them and letting them know they're loved and accepted. As you can see, I have a job I truly take seriously. I will miss my job when I become a stay-at-home mom, but nothing is more precious than being able to stay home with our child. I love to do yoga and go to a class once a week at my gym. I also love to get carried away with a good book and have always been an avid reader. |
OUR
HOME![]() We have a beautiful home in the small town of Suisun City, California. We have lived here for two years and absolutely love it! We fell in love with our home from the first minute the Realtor showed it to us and just knew that we had to have it. We take great pride in our home. We're always decorating inside and gardening outside. At Christmas, we decorate our entire front lawn and have hundreds of lights hanging from the house. People love to look at our home and it even got in the paper the first year we were in it! There are always children playing on our street and we love to sit out on the patio and watch everybody. It's a very family-friendly neighborhood. We are extremely close to the elementary school (which we can see from our backyard) and the YMCA. There are parks every few blocks in our town. Our favorite part is the Marina area. There are various restaurants and shops we frequent. But it is really best when they have weekend events such as antique fairs, boating shows, christmas presentations, a wonderful fourth of July parade, fireworks, and childrens events. The most exciting ones are the bed and bathtub races on the Main street of town. Our community takes pride in this small town and has revitalized the marina section of Suisun City to make it a very desirable place to live. There are many opportunities for children of all ages in this community. We are very excited about having a child to share this with. |
